Raising funds to raise the bar!

We invite you to participate in our fundraising campaign to improve the dojo’s infrastructure. We are off to a good start - our launch event in January raised $2000. By June 2022 we reached $3500. Project plans on slate include installation of new lighting, air conditioning, and a rebuild of the subfloor under the mats. Your generous donations will determine which projects we can accomplish. Donate anytime through the button below, or make a donation in conjunction with our upcoming events.

New blank book journal, lay-flat soft cover, dotted pages, A5 size. Design is “the five pillars” as compass.

Yours when you donate $120 or more

The five pillars of aikido were expounded by T.K. Chiba Sensei. The visual concept is by Suzane Van Amburgh, the artwork is by Thea Oatman. Big thanks to Ben Root of Root Graphics for adapting the artwork to serve as a journal cover. These are nice, high-quality, soft-cover, lay-flat notebooks with thick 70 lb. / 100 gsm premium, recycled paper, 144 dot-grid pages. Features durable, smyth-sewn library-quality binding.

Our second run of journals has arrived! The next ten supporters who donate $120 or more to our campaign will be offered a book. Pick up at the dojo or we can ship it to you (within the U.S.).
